Free rides for women in Delhi

So.. today I'm going to share my views on "FREE RIDES FOR WOMEN IN DELHI"

Delhi's CM Mr. Arvind Kejriwal announced free rides for women commuters in Delhi metros and buses for safety of women and to encourage them to use public transport.

That's true, that there will be increment of women commuters in public transport, but I don't understand how it will promote women's safety. Instead it will create conflicts between men and women. Even reservations for anyone who doesn't deserve it always causes decadence to oneself, to others as well as to the society. Women don't deserve these rides as they don't need them. 95% of women travelling in Delhi metro are earning and they are capable of paying their transport charges. Those were the different times when women were not allowed to step out of home, to earn and they were totally dependent on their spouse. In fact Women don't deserve most of the liberties they have been provided because they do misuse it. And in recent past I've seen many such cases. Being a GIRL I'm opposing the liberties which is being provided to us.

One day I was travelling to college through Delhi Metro, an old lady came and there were no seats left for her to sit. She asked a girl to compromise her seat for the old lady but she made an excuse. Then a man stood and offered his seat to the old lady. A man who was around his 50s was seeing all that while standing and when that lady finally got the seat, then he started speaking in quite loud voice. I still remember his words  "A male can whenever compromise his seat for a female but I've never seen a female compromising her seat for anyone, either she's a school goer or college goer, married or unmarried, old or young. But they want a male to compromise his seat for them and then they appeal for equality. How is it called Equality when you yourself don't want to equalize the society from your side." There was silence all around. Yes, he was right. He was totally right.

That's why I oppose such liberties, instead these must be provided to the real needy. But Delhi Govt. is doing these things to seek female voters. This is wrong and we should oppose it.
